Midway between Victorville, CA and Las Vegas, NV lies Desert Skate Ranch. On the 12th of September, I was invited to the Barstow-based skatepark and gladly stopped by. Although bowls aren’t my forte, I still put my best foot forward and enjoyed pumping the transition and watching the other skate rats rip. To my surprise, Anti-Hero and Thrasher icon Andy Roy was there. I captured him and his viral new smile in a rap-inspired photo where I had him hook his cheek open with his pinky to flaunt his shiny new dentures covered in tobacco.
